Cool wedding planning resources I made

A recent client wanted an S-shaped aisle.

I’d never done one so shared my work in this updated article. Huge thanks to planner and florist Sadie McIntyre at Vareus Events for helping me figure this out.

I lowered my rates by $300 this month.

To be fair, I fiddle with my pricing a lot but I thought some of you would like to know. Here’s what I cost and why.

I also added to my inventory.

The list now includes a black metal easel, a clear umbrella, a steamer, and a music stand (for an officiant to use as a podium).

“She offers a paid one-hour consultation, which is such a genius idea.”

Thank you so much, kind reviewer on Facebook :)

That mobile charcuterie cart?

So worth it! Also highly recommend the rose slushy machine over at Every Hour Happy Hour.

If you like thought pieces on wedding stuff…

Try the newsletter Designed for Connection by experience designer Julie Comfort. The latest one was about making RSVPs for a wedding first come, first served.

There’s a new rental company in Portland.

They’re going for “refined” and “pristine” tabletop rentals. Based on the photos, they’re nailing it.

This new guide is all about planning intentional events.

It’s from the team over at Greater Good Events and you have to opt-in to the newsletter to get it.

Psst — Per my code of conduct, I don’t take kickbacks or other things of value for my referrals.

Wedding vendors, this is for you

Wedding vendor meet-ups are happening. The next one I’m hosting is in October but there are a couple coming up in other cities (Seattle and Philadelphia). Meet people!
