You're Not Alone: Anna B.

My clients often feel isolated as they plan their weddings. They can't talk about the hard parts because people think they're complaining, ungrateful, or second-guessing their choice to get married. But I know something my clients don't: They're not alone. Hear it from people who've been there.

When it comes to your wedding, what was your...

Worst surprise?

Our wedding site was about 15 minutes away from where we got ready. Unfortunately, my husband got stuck in traffic and was late to the ceremony.

Biggest regret?

The hardest part of the wedding was having such a limited amount of time to visit with family and friends. We were so fortunate to have so many people travel out for the wedding, but it was difficult to find time to spend with everyone.

Best advice?

Try to relax and enjoy the day. No matter how many details you had planned, things will take an unexpected turn. Just remember the purpose of the whole day, and never forget to take the moments to be with each other.
